Rapp auction scheduled for 27 and 28 March 2020 postponed

Valued Customers, Ladies and Gentlemen,

On the evening of 16 March 2020, the Swiss Federal Council announced that no public or private events are permitted to take place until 19 April 2020 on account of the spread of the coronavirus. This also affects our auction scheduled for 27 and 28 March 2020. In light of current events and the Federal Council’s decision, we regret that we are required to postpone our auction. This is not a cancellation, but rather simply a postponement of the auction date. That means that the auction will take place at a later date this year which is still to be determined. If necessary, the auction will be integrated as part of the grand Rapp Auction Week from 24 to 28 November 2020. So please mark this date now. Of course, we will inform you of the new auction date as soon as possible.

Viewing and presentation no longer possible

Due to the provisions of the latest regulation and the current state of affairs, it is no longer possible to organise a viewing or presentation of the auction lots. We regret to have to take these measures, as approximately 100 people had already registered for the viewing as of yesterday. However, it goes without saying that personal health takes the absolute highest priority. We will continue to offer consultations over the phone and via email and are available to address your questions and concerns Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm. We look forward to hearing from you even in these difficult times.

Many people are understandably quite concerned about the current change in living conditions as well as the implementation of the new administrative orders now being issued on a daily or even hourly basis. We therefore understand that personal health care and the simple completion of everyday tasks currently take centre stage and would like to act responsibly and comply with any and all necessary measures.

Naturally, we will keep you regularly informed of any new developments and thank you for your valued trust. Stay healthy!

Warm regards,
Marianne Rapp Ohmann and the Rapp family and team
