Rapp Auctions presented on 18 January at Villa Erlengut an exquisite selection of Jewellery, Watches and Luxury Handbags which will be auctioned on 27 and 28 March at Rapp Auctions.
On Saturday 9 February 2019, we presented some very fine and valuable items from our jewellery & watches auction offer 2019 in the occasion of our Expert Day at the “Storchen” Hotel in the middle of Zurich’s old town. At the same time, interested clients were there to provide us with further beautiful consignments.
Exciting workshops on the topic of jewellery and watches took place at Rapp Auctions between November 2018 and January 2019. A diverse and interesting program of events, presentations and workshops was put together for our clients. The participants could dip into the world of intricate watches or learn a little about the fascination of pearls. Artist Birgit Lorenz delighted our clients with an inspiring painting workshop on the topic of jewellery and art.
We are grateful for the large interest in our event series and the positive feedback we received.
Introducing the new Rapp Auctions customer magazine!
The magazine explores the world of collecting with exciting stories, profiles, interviews and informative reports. Are collectors really happy people? And if so, why? Read a range of interviews with happy collectors and find out when and why they developed this passion.
We presented the first issue of our new publication at an exclusive customer event held in Lugano at the beautiful Villa Castagnola on 18 May. It was a very successful event with an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere. The common passion of our guests, the one for the precious and beautiful things, resulted in an exceptional party among friends, which was clearly noticeable.

Rapp Auctions presented a comprehensive exhibition of Switzerland’s most precious coins in cooperation with the numismatist Olivier Chaponnière. «L’Excellence Suisse» documented the birth and the development of the Swiss franc and presented the gold coins minted by the Swiss Confederation from 1873 to the present, including all rarities. The additional presentation «The Money of Our Ancestors» focused on coins from Eastern Switzerland. Its highlights originate from an important private collection and have never been displayed before.
Two exclusive publications in German were issued for the exhibition.

As a part of her role as the ambassador of the city of Wil 2016, Marianne Rapp Ohmann invited Wil's population to an extraordinary get-together. With «from locals to locals» as its motto, this event was a great opportunity for the visitors to get to know Wil's young, innovative businesses, whilst the entrepreneurs themselves got the chance to network.

On Friday, 13 November 2015, we celebrated the opening of our exhibition in occasion of the 170th anniversary of the Basle Dove stamp with about 70 invited guests.
In a jubilee celebration, in November 2015, of 170 years of the issuing of the Basle Dove stamp, we presented a selection of the most precious items of that stamp in an exhibition for visitors young and old, laypersons and connoisseurs. The exhibition made headlines or prime-time news in all major media, including the Tagesschau of Swiss Television.
In May 2014, all interested parties were invited to the Rapp auction house to get free expert advice and estimates. Not only for stamps or coins this time, but also for other collectables such as paintings, antiques, jewellery, etc. The huge public interest led to an incredible run! About 600 people from Switzerland and the adjacent countries took their chance and presented thousands of different collectables. This event made the headline that day!
