Those of you who have known us for a long time now, will be aware that in addition to exquisite single lots and rarities, terrific estate collections and special or country collections come on offer time and time again at our auctions – some of which we deliberately leave intact. The Spring Auction 2022 will be no different: We are delighted to be able to offer you a wonderful selection of rarities from all areas of Swiss philately, as well as top pieces from a variety of countries and regions. Once again, there is a particular emphasis on the exquisite, vast collections and inheritances. These all come from private collectors and some collections have been tenderly cared for and built up by 2, or even 3 generations.

Classic Switzerland collections
You can find magnificent Switzerland collections in the classical department with all cantonal stamps, all memorial stamp sheets from all periods – from the NABA 1934, to NABA 1965 –, complete collections of tête-bêches and gutter pairs or the Genfer-Ämter stamps in mint condition.
Outstanding country collections
We auction fascinating and very extensive wholesales and country collections from Austria, Liechtenstein, multiple German regions, motives and European and world collections at top valuations.
Very extensive collector’s stock from the late Werner Widmer which comprehends over 2000 albums
The inventory has been organised according to different topics and countries. No individual items have been removed. Above all, the numerous additional items such as postcards, postal stationery cards/covers, special cancellations, machine cancellations, day of the postage stamps and Swiss Bundesfeierkarten postcards deserve a special mention.
You can already look forward to a substantial and interesting stamp auction in May 2022 at Rapp Auctions, where an extraordinary selection of collections and magnificent individual items shall be on offer, most notably in the Switzerland department from 1907 onwards, where we will auction the most exquisite and valuable selection in the 50-year history of our company. Grand Rapp Auction Week in Spring 2022
We are delighted to be able to invite you to a fascinating Rapp Auction Week from 2 to 7 May 2022. Alongside the philately department, we have a marvellous selection of items in the numismatics, watches, jewellery, porcelain and valuable designer handbags departments. Peter Rapp and Marianne Rapp Ohmann, alongside their team of experts, travel to multiple European countries. Expert Days regularly take place in various Swiss, Austrian and German cities.
