For several years now, there has been the possibility of placing bids for Rapp auctions online through the internet. This is a simple, direct and well-tested way of placing bids for the auction in advance. Placing online bids requires prior registration. Your online bids will be treated in the same way and with the same meticulousness as traditional written bids. Online bids are currently limited to the amount of CHF 30‘000.–. We regret that bids via e-mail cannot be accepted.

A valid credit card is required in order for you to be able to participate in online bidding (before the auction). With new customers in particular, the Rapp auction house reserves the right to validate and to request authorisation of the credit card prior to the auction. The Rapp auction house reserves the right to set aside up to 25% of your bid amount on your credit card. (Important: This is a hold only, and not a debit.)

Register for participation and assign yourself a user name and a password. Please also communicate to us the number(s) of the lot(s) or the range of lots you intend to bid for. Registration must be affected one day before the auction commences. For later registrations, access cannot be guaranteed. Your registration must be approved, and access to the bidding system must be authorized, by Peter Rapp AG. Therefore, you will receive an e-mail confirmation in due course, which must be re-confirmed by you. Please register only once for the auction.
